Lead and facilitate requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to elicit, clarify, and document business needs.
Translate business requirements into clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FSDs), process documentation, and supporting artifacts for technical teams.
Develop comprehensive current
and future-state process maps, including business rules, decision points, and cross-functional workflows; identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Partner with business and technical teams to design, evaluate, and validate solutions aligned to operational objectives and system capabilities.
Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and IT throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
Own assigned initiatives and deliverables through analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
Develop UAT strategy, prepare test scenarios and cases, coordinate execution with business stakeholders, and ensure traceability to requirements.
Proactively identify, assess, and communicate risks, impacts, and dependencies, exercising sound independent judgment in support of organizational priorities.
Act as a subject matter expert for supported systems and processes; provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts as needed.
Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred in business management, leadership, computer science or related field.
Experience working within a technology-driven organization supporting enterprise systems and cross-functional initiatives.
Working knowledge of higher education operations and systems (e.g., SIS, CRM, ERP, LMS) and the broader student lifecycle preferred.
Demonstrated experience documenting business processes, business rules, and cross-functional workflows.
Proficiency with process mapping and flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio or similar platforms).
Experience producing structured requirements documentation (e.g., BRDs, FSDs) and supporting initiatives through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Working knowledge of SDLC processes, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience working within ticketing and work management systems (e.g., Jira or similar platforms).
Foundational knowledge of SQL and the ability to create and interpret queries to support analysis and validation activities.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Understanding of organizational structures, governance, and operational dynamics within complex environments.
