Pharmacy Technician II, Front End

Role Overview

• Accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the system
• Ensuring patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
• Directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
• Entering complete prescription information after clarification is received
• Performing other pharmacy functions as required

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law
• Minimum of 3 months related pharmacy technician experience
• Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Secure room free from noise and distractions
• Must have a direct internet connection with specified speed requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
