You carry out feasibility studies and experimental setups in our laboratory for the design and testing of camera systems
You independently develop applications in the field of industrial image processing on PC-based and smart camera systems to solve optical inspection and identification tasks
You manage application projects professionally and on schedule, including installation and commissioning at the customer site
You prepare project-specific documentation
You perform service and maintenance of already installed applications/systems
You occasionally develop simple robot programs for camera and part guidance (preferably after comprehensive prior training)
Requirements
Completed technical vocational training with professional experience (e.g., Mechatronics technician, Electronics technician or IT specialist)
Further training as a technician in automation or electrical engineering, or a completed technical degree (Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar)
Ideally, prior experience in industrial image processing (robotics not mandatory)
Ideally, prior experience in an industrial automation environment
Enjoy learning new things and a desire for professional development
Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
Good English language skills
Driving license
Willingness to travel for short assignments within Germany and elsewhere in Europe
