Act as the finance partner for assigned business units: produce monthly reports, analyze results versus budgets/forecasts, and explain variances
Prepare expense forecasts with regional teams, WFM and CDAT; support management in budgeting and complex analyses; provide recommendations
Support operations in performance monitoring and process improvement
Contribute to month-end close (journal entries, GL reconciliations)
Continuously improve financial systems and accounting processes; simplify, standardize, and strengthen controls
Ensure compliance and effectiveness of financial controls.
Requirements
Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and analytics tools (Power BI, Power Query); automation (e.g., Power Automate) and financial ERPs (e.g., SAP/Oracle) are significant assets
Quick learner, agile, highly organized; able to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels (regional teams and leadership); clear and concise
Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance is a strong asset
Bilingual (French/English) — required to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
