Reconciling funds received from clients, insurers, credit agencies, and other third parties across all relevant bank accounts, identifying and escalating anomalies.
Reconciling Policy Administration System (PAS) transactions against bank activity to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Completing detailed reconciliations of individual client ledgers—covering invoices, bank entries, and cash movements.
Producing reconciliation artefacts to a standard suitable for both internal and external audit.
Maintaining the project reconciliation tracker and providing weekly updates to the Programme Director.
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE) with deep reconciliation experience
Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve a wide range of queries
Solid understanding of internal financial controls
Knowledge of the insurance industry, including risk types and insurer placements
Internal audit experience (advantageous)
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
