About this role
Role Overview
- Reviewing, classifying and posting all types of accounting documents
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial closings
- Preparing VAT (sales tax) returns
- Processing travel expense and credit card statements
- Managing payments and accounts payable, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor master data
- Accurate and diligent management of all accounting records
Requirements
- Completed commercial/business vocational training and 2–3 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong numerical aptitude and excellent accounting knowledge
- Proficient in Google Suite and common accounting software such as DATEV
- Excellent organizational skills and a goal-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused work style
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Fluent German and English
