Collaborate with customers, e.g.: analyze requirements, evaluate tools, and provide strategic recommendations for architecture and process design.
Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and platform solutions (Kubernetes, IaC), ensuring security best practices.
Advise on container platforms, CI/CD, observability, and cloud strategies.
Help standardize and evolve our platform architectures, bringing in new ideas from your project experience.
Represent AIM in workshops, demos, and webinars, supporting customer acquisition with your technical expertise.
Act as a mentor and technical point of contact for other engineers, helping them develop professionally.
Drive the Platform Engineering track at AIM strategically, technically, methodologically, and culturally.
Lead or initiate internal R&D projects (e.g., new cloud technologies, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), or developer experience).
Actively share your knowledge within the team, in internal formats, and at external industry events.
Requirements
At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Experience with Kubernetes or a Kubernetes distribution.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc.).
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman).
Experience designing and implementing complex platform architectures.
Enjoy mentoring and supporting colleagues in their development.
Structured, independent working style with an eye for quality and scalability.
Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and collaborative, equal-footed teamwork.
Very good German skills (at least C1) and basic technical English (B1).
