Role Overview
- Lead the Consulting Business Unit with services including construction supervision, construction project management, project control, and sustainability consulting
- Acquire, develop and deepen client relationships together with partner firms
- Knowledge management and consolidation of partner expertise for market publication (e.g., panel discussions, white papers)
- Manage and monitor the operational performance of our partner firms using defined KPIs (utilization, margin, etc.), implement best-practice standards and derive optimization measures
- Act as a sparring partner for the managing directors (MDs) of partner firms on strategic, operational and commercial matters
- Support growth through due diligence, particularly by assessing the business substance and process maturity of potential new partner firms at home and abroad
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in leading and managing companies or business units, preferably from construction project management, project control or specialized construction consulting
- Professional experience in a private equity environment or in a consulting-intensive corporate organization within construction management, project control or construction supervision
- Leadership personality with a proven record of improving team performance, ideally within complex organizational structures
- Strong integrative skills for onboarding new organizations, people and systems
- High numerical affinity, hands-on mentality, willingness to travel and the drive to actively build structures in a dynamic environment
- Business-fluent German (minimum C1) and very good English skills
