You drive strategic new customer development, particularly in the demanding public sector segment (municipalities, public works departments, municipal utilities)
You are responsible for managing and successfully winning complex tenders and procurement procedures, from analysis through final proposal submission and contract signing
You establish and generate new long-term customer relationships
You continually develop creative ideas to acquire new customers and address new customer segments
You are an expert on our product portfolio (SaaS/Telematics) and develop tailored solution concepts for our customers' challenges
You independently conduct customer consultations and needs analyses and are responsible for comprehensive documentation (CRM)
The entire proposal process, including pricing and negotiation, is your responsibility
You serve as the central interface between our customers and project/product management and are responsible for the successful handover to the implementation team
Requirements
Sales is a calling for you, not just a job — and this is reflected in your proven track record
Ideally, you have solid experience selling to the public sector, know the specific tendering and procurement processes, and can demonstrate success in winning tenders
You have a completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable degree (e.g., IT management, business administration) and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable, results-oriented sales role
Strong customer and service orientation combined with excellent communication skills complete your profile
A structured, independent and goal-oriented way of working is a must for you, and you are adept at working in a team
You have an affinity for IT topics and relevant experience with software
You enjoy travel as part of sales activities within the DACH region and have very good German (at least C1) and English (at least B2) skills
