About this role
Role Overview
- Provide legal advice on data protection law
- Provide advice in the area of compliance
- Review matters for compliance and data protection requirements
- Possibly assume the role of external Data Protection Officer
- Represent our clients in judicial and extrajudicial disputes
- Conduct data protection audits using our legal-tech tools
- Project management in the compliance and data protection area
- Maintain and expand client relationships
- Conduct training sessions
- Serve as the point of contact for the relevant supervisory authorities
Requirements
- Completed law degree with Second State Examination (volljurist)
- Admission to the bar is preferred
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in legal project management and in leading/managing staff
- Certification as a Data Protection Officer is a plus
- Affinity for Legal Tech services
- Fluent German (spoken and written) and very good English
- Motivation, flexibility and strong team and communication skills
- Commitment and enthusiasm for proactive, independent work
- Willingness to travel and a service-oriented mindset
