Translator, Lithuanian

Role Overview

• Provide Translation services for individuals with a language barrier
• Accurately translate spoken work situations like lectures, conversations, and meetings
• Utilizing technology to transcribe spoken English in some settings
• Reading an original document and translating it into the language required
• Editing translated versions
• Sensitive to the culture of the original languages and the target languages during the translation process
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School/BA Degree or equivalent in years of experience
• 3+ years of translation/interpretation in Lithuanian
• Certified Translation Professional
• ATA Certification
• Translation Certifications
• Experience with State Department experience/refugees, FDA, Health & Human services, Medical, Legal, Housing Authority etc.
• Must be fluent in Lithuanian
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Proficiency in written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
