Proactively identify and propose tailored solutions for customer needs, drafting white papers and influencing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to reflect program alignment and competitive advantage.
Lead strategic planning for sustainable growth in the IC sector by identifying new markets and emerging opportunities.
Provide guidance for proposal development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and competitive positioning.
Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, program requirements, and organizational policies.
Represent Amentum in a professional capacity while engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and leadership teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
A minimum of 10 years of experience working within or directly supporting the Intelligence Community
Deep understanding of IC operations, priorities, and goals—gained through direct involvement with relevant organizations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and business operations related to IC contracts.
Proven track record of leadership with P&L accountability, operational oversight, and driving business growth.
Demonstrated experience in business development, including strategic customer engagement and positioning for competitive opportunities.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other analytical tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
