Role Overview
You will strategically redesign and further develop our entire individual and recurring donations fundraising.
Whether optimizing the lead-to-donor journey or developing essential KPIs — all threads come together with you, which you hold firmly in line with HateAid's mission and vision.
You are eager to plan, implement, and evaluate various fundraising measures and to continually experiment in order to advance our individual and recurring donations fundraising and attract new donors to HateAid.
You are responsible for the professional and appreciative care of our individual and recurring donors in the base-donation area — from planning and sending newsletters to handling inquiries.
Your goal is to build long-term, trust-based relationships with our supporters.
You are primarily responsible for maintaining our donor database, producing reports, and optimizing our donation forms.
You maintain your own network to exchange best practices and benchmarks and keep up to date with trends and developments in fundraising.
You ensure smooth communication and efficient processes among all relevant stakeholders, share your knowledge within the organization, and strengthen your colleagues' fundraising mindset.
Requirements
A degree or training in fundraising, communications, marketing, or another relevant field can be helpful but is not a requirement — we value personality and expertise more than formal qualifications.
Your residence and usual place of work are in Germany.
You have very good written and verbal communication skills in German.
You have at least three to five years of relevant professional experience in fundraising, ideally focused on newsletters, online fundraising, recurring donors / sustaining members.
You have solid experience in data-driven work and handling donation/CRM systems, automations, analytics and marketing tools for measuring and optimizing activities.
You bring experience working with agencies and service providers and in internal stakeholder management.
You are familiar with audience-specific communication, segmentation, A/B testing, and donor journeys.
You demonstrate initiative and proactivity in learning new topics and tools.
You have a keen sense for trends and innovations to iteratively test new approaches.
You have strong project, process, and time management skills.
You have a high standard for quality but are pragmatic when the situation requires it.
You are familiar with various digital tools for organization and communication and feel confident using the MS Office suite.
You are politically minded and want to commit to combating digital violence.
You appreciate our diverse society and are willing to develop yourself, broaden your perspective, and keep learning.
Even if you don't meet every single requirement, we look forward to your application!
