Design and own pricing strategies for our solutions portfolio, including hardware, connectivity, and SaaS products across our 4 Lines of Business, ensuring alignment with financial & business objectives and market conditions
Impact ORBCOMMs success by driving pricing strategies and initiatives that contribute to the financial success and competitive advantage of the business
Enable ORBCOMM to make informed pricing decisions and capitalize on opportunities by analyzing market trends and the competitive landscape
Work with Marketing and Sales to design pricing promotions
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, monitor competitor pricing, and forecast market changes. Gain a deep understanding of our markets, products and use cases.
Tactical execution of end-to-end pricing strategy
Manage deal desk including review and approval of sales contracts, pricing, and deal structures.
Monitor and analyze the performance of pricing strategies and plays, making necessary adjustments to optimize revenue and profit margins
Collaborate with sales, finance, GMs, and marketing to ensure cohesive and effective pricing strategies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA desirable.
Substantial global pricing experience, including pricing of hardware and software products.
Experience with competitive analysis and positioning in a global market
Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and financial principles related to pricing in a global market
Experience working with global, cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the defined strategy
Strong financial modelling skills demonstrated by the ability to create pricing structures and P&L analysis with multiple scenarios
Hands-on experience delivering business results
Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers, executives, and internal audiences
Channel pricing experience is an asset
Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.
