Provides an individualized evaluation, during which the client, family/caregiver, and physical therapist determine the patient's goals
Customizes interventions to optimize the person's ability to perform functional activities
Continuously assesses progress towards goals to ensure goals are being met and/or to modify the intervention plan based on the patient's needs and skills
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures, completes the evaluation, and formulates an individualized plan of care
Provides evidence based quality patient treatments and monitors patient for physiological status during sessions
Provides individualized patient education
Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and education sessions and submits accurate charges according to regulatory policies
Serves as a clinical instructor/mentor and provides education to other disciplines within UAMS and/or the community
Participates in multidisciplinary and department communication, including patient care discussions and/or meetings and unit/department/hospital meetings
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure
2 years of experience in Physical Therapy (Preferred)
OCS, CSCS, DN Certified (Preferred)
Intermediate Computer Skills (Preferred)
