Role Overview
- The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic and energetic team combining their accounting experience with a fresh and innovative approach utilising cloud accounting software.
- The role will be to undertake and review accounts preparation work as directed and help to support in managing client relationships to deliver outstanding client service.
- Preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts
- Assistance with tax compliance work
- Assisting client managers with portfolio management
- Supporting clients with transitions to cloud accounting
- Prepare management and year-end accounts, as well as tax computations and supporting schedules.
- Develop strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client care and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver accurate client outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Support and mentor junior team members, acting as a buddy and sharing knowledge.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to business development and identifying client opportunities.
Requirements
- Full or part qualified (ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent)
- Strong technical groundings across accounts and tax
- Proficient with accounting and tax systems
- Commercially minded with clear understand of client business contexts
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- A collaborative team player who supports, mentors, and learns from others.
