Collaborate with Group Retirement Sales, Relationship Management, Consultant Relations, Product and Pricing teams to shape competitive, strategic bids and maximize win probability
Own the deal management operation, creating efficient workflows from proposal to signature; mitigate risks by enforcing compliance with pricing and other models
Serve as first point of contact for complex or non-standard terms, engage directly with stakeholders to resolve issues or objections
Manage and mentor the team fostering a culture of winning, high performance, accountability and continuous development; this includes RFP content, bid unit and deal coordination
Utilize CRM data to monitor pipelines, identify bottlenecks and provide insights to leadership regarding bid performance and profitability
Identify, design and implement process improvements, including tools, to drive efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve stakeholder satisfaction across
Requirements
7+ experience in deal management or sales operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a financial services B2B environment
Experience with retirement plans (ERISA and non-ERISA) preferred
Strong understanding of bid economics and product profitability
Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proposal tools
Proven ability to manage teams, develop talent, drive change and influence stakeholders
Strategic thinker with growth mindset
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses clearly to senior leaders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business
