You take full ownership of initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch impact tracking.
You proactively communicate challenges, risks and performance, ensuring clarity and consistent messaging.
You follow through — ensuring initiatives reach their intended outcome, not just completion.
You define the product direction for your area, shaping the long-range roadmap, key bets and how we win in the market.
You exemplify the Phorest Product Management Charter principles at a master level: Customer-Led, Organised, and Outcome-Oriented.
You bring consistency, communication, and coordination across teams, ensuring a shared understanding of what success looks like.
You lead with influence, not authority — collaborating deeply with design, engineering and product operations, bringing strategic thinking, reducing ambiguity to drive momentum, accountability and creating a clear path forward.
You resolve blockers where possible and escalate only when necessary — demonstrating resourcefulness and ownership.
You ensure cross‑functional and regional alignment, partnering with Product Operations, Success, Support, Product Marketing and Regions to ensure readiness, feedback integration and commercial alignment.
You deeply understand customer pain points and ground decisions in direct feedback, discovery and data.
You maintain close partnerships with regional teams, attending customer calls weekly and validating your assumptions in-market.
You prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable value for both customers and the business — balancing user benefit, financial return and strategic fit.
You treat internal stakeholders as customers — engaging in continuous discovery, structured user research and ongoing validation.
You build tight feedback loops, ensuring tooling decisions are grounded in real user behaviour rather than opinion or hierarchy.
You write strong business cases that are written in good time explaining the ‘why’, ‘what’, and ‘impact’ of each major investment.
You provide clarity for your squads through well-written stories, sharp prioritisation and well-managed backlogs.
You are proactive in managing stakeholder expectations — ensuring alignment and minimising surprises.
You challenge design and engineering constructively, as a peer, to arrive at the best solution possible.
You are confident in saying no when needed — protecting focus, avoiding solution sprawl and ensuring we invest in the highest-leverage opportunities.
You identify opportunities where process, automation and tooling can unlock step-change efficiency gains.
You measure success not just by feature delivery, but by operational leverage gained — time saved, cost reduced, throughput increased, and dependency on manual work decreased.
You challenge “we need more people” thinking by demonstrating where better systems create sustainable scale.
You actively mentor junior PMs — offering feedback, asking where they need help, and stepping in when you can provide support.
You are approachable and dependable — peers and cross-functional partners know they can count on you to get things done.
You exemplify strong PM fundamentals: up-to-date roadmaps, organised backlogs and high quality Agile practises, weekly progress updates and metrics tracking for every initiative.
You use data to understand and communicate performance — demonstrating awareness of the health of your product area.
You close the loop post-launch, analysing adoption, gathering insights, and applying learnings to future work.
You are consistent, disciplined, and organised — setting the tone for operational excellence in your squads.
