Ensure accountability for achievement of the strategic directions of the organization and for ensuring that its fiduciary "duty of care" is fully exercised.
Requirements
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Quality and safety oversight, Finance (professional designation), Board Governance, People and Culture (Human Resources, *EDIA), Health care systems, Information technology *Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to approach, listen, build trust, and communicate across diverse cultures, intersectionality and experiences.
Think strategically with a vision to the future
Applying a social justice lens, to identify and mitigate unconscious and systemic bias in planning and decision-making
Demonstrate understanding of social determinants of health and impact on vulnerable communities
Minimum 3 (three) Year term September 2026 to September 2029
Monthly time commitment (approximately 12 hours per month)
