Maintain a centralised Technical Regulatory Requirements Register by jurisdiction, ensuring version control, traceability, and clear ownership.
Map regulatory requirements to system components and designated control owners, ensuring full traceability from requirement to implementation and audit evidence.
Review product mechanics and configurations from a regulatory perspective, advising on constraints, market-specific variations, certification implications, and rollout strategy.
Participate in product certification processes and coordinate directly with testing laboratories and, where required, regulatory authorities.
Act as primary coordinator for regulatory, security and ISO-related audits, ensuring structured preparation and readiness across all relevant teams.
Coordinate evidence collection from Engineering, DevOps, Security, IT and other system owners; prepare comprehensive and well-structured audit evidence packs.
Maintain oversight of audit calendars, control matrices, findings, corrective actions and remediation timelines, ensuring accountability and timely closure.
Review technical and infrastructure changes impacting certified environments; assess regulatory notification obligations and recertification triggers prior to deployment.
Identify technical compliance gaps across systems, products and environments; escalate material risks and propose mitigation strategies where necessary.
Conduct structured impact assessments for new market entry and jurisdictional expansion, ensuring regulatory readiness before launch.
Provide clear, implementation-focused regulatory guidance to technical stakeholders, ensuring requirements are practically embedded into systems and processes.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical compliance, regulatory certification, or technical audit within the iGaming sector, preferably on the B2B supplier side.
Strong understanding of gaming regulatory frameworks (e.g. MGA, UKGC, DGOJ, SGA, AGCO) and technical certification processes.
Demonstrated ability to translate legal and regulatory language into concrete, system-level technical implementation requirements.
Experience coordinating certification processes and working directly with testing laboratories and regulatory bodies.
Proven track managing regulatory and/or ISO-related audits, including evidence preparation and remediation tracking.
Strong ability to assess technical changes and evaluate compliance impact prior to production deployment.
Structured, documentation-driven and detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills.
Confident engaging with and constructively challenging technical teams where compliance exposure or risk is identified.
