Role Overview
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product cost and improve the customer experience
- Develop new product supply chain and support NPI procurement and tool development
- Own new product quoting processes and cost management across component, subassembly and CM level
- Drive a global tooling strategy in support of current and future business
- Provide timely communications and updates throughout the department
- Drive product manufacturability, testability and supply chain design
- Establish supply readiness to ensure material availability to support production ramp
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing for a hardware device company
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field
- Experience in global supply chain/manufacturing positions
- Relevant knowledge of contract manufacturing and supplier commodity management
- Demonstrated experience in quickly adapting and learning new technologies
- Strong analytical background used for making complex decisions
- Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
