Lead advisory projects focused on accounting and back‑office topics for fast‑growing companies
Take on project leadership, key account management, and interim mandates, e.g., as VP or Director Accounting
Conduct analysis workshops, assess the current state, develop solution concepts, and support deal closing
Interim management: execute project tasks through interim assignments
Tools: design and implement best‑in‑class finance tools
Processes: establish lean, best‑practice finance and administrative processes, including automations and digitization
Work on relevant accounting topics for our clients, such as preparing annual financial statements including management reports and notes, and group/consolidated financial statements including consolidation
Review and optimize interfaces with service providers, tax advisors, and banks
Lead a small team (5 employees)
Requirements
A completed degree or vocational training in economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field is a nice‑to‑have, not a must‑have
Additional qualifications, e.g., a certified accounting/bookkeeping qualification
Relevant professional experience, e.g., as VP or Director Accounting, preferably in a start‑up or consulting environment
Strong accounting knowledge under HGB and IFRS; US GAAP knowledge is a plus
Very good DATEV skills and advanced experience with another accounting system such as MS Dynamics or SAP
Experience in process automation and digitization and familiarity with various finance tools
Very strong to excellent skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets
Ability to lead and manage teams (>5 FTE) and to independently take responsibility for complex projects
Good to very good knowledge of consolidation software/systems, particularly LucaNet
Experience with additional accounting specialty topics such as OSS, intercompany allocations, IFRS, international payroll, or corporate structures
Experience acting as an interface to various stakeholders, e.g., working with tax advisors, investors, tax authorities (including external/special audits), banks, auditors, internal audit, or service providers
Good communication skills in German and English (approximately C1)
