Ensure that all products are compliant with IMDS regulations and guidelines, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Manage and maintain material data for all products, including creation and updating of IMDS files, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to ensure that products are designed with IMDS compliance in mind and provide guidance on material selection and substitution.
Identify and assess potential risks associated with non-compliance and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IMDS compliance, product design, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IMDS regulations and guidelines, material data management, and design for compliance.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
