- Handles legal work on assigned cases
- Aggressively pursues files referred to House Counsel by the Claims Department
- Creates and maintains a documented strategy for case handling
- Assists in preparation of reports on new laws, legislation, and relevant appellate decisions
- Keeps Litigation Specialists and Adjusters appraised of the status of cases
Requirements
- 7 years of experience as a trial attorney
- The handling of insurance defense work is preferred
- Member of the State Bar
- Must maintain the highest moral and ethical standards
- Required to travel as needed
