Practice in labor litigation across all procedural stages (trial, appeals, and enforcement/execution).
Drafting appeals, including Ordinary Appeal (Recurso Ordinário), Recurso de Revista (appeal to the Superior Labor Court), Agravo de Instrumento (interlocutory appeal), Internal/Regimental Appeal (Agravo Interno/Regimental), and Extraordinary Appeal (Recurso Extraordinário).
Drafting pleadings in the enforcement/execution phase, such as Objections to Calculations (Impugnações de Cálculos), Execution Embargos (Embargos à Execução), Agravo de Petição (appeal in the enforcement phase), Writ of Mandamus (Mandado de Segurança), and other appropriate measures.
Drafting Constitutional Complaints when applicable, defending against administrative notices of infraction, and actions for prohibitory injunctions (interdito proibitório).
Monitoring case progress and entering information into internal and client systems, ensuring constant and accurate updates. Requesting payments and managing deadlines.
Preparing for hearings, including requesting documents and necessary materials to prepare the defense, and advising company representatives (prepostos).
Conducting hearings — single (audiência una), initial, evidentiary/instruction, or settlement hearings — with a technical and strategic approach to best protect the client's interests.
Requirements
Experience in Labor Litigation – Solid experience handling labor cases from the initial phase through enforcement/execution, with mastery of procedural strategies applicable to each case.
Ability to develop procedural strategies – Capacity to analyze information, documents, and court decisions to define the best approach in defending the client's interests.
Critical and analytical thinking – Strong ability to read and interpret judgments and appellate decisions, with strategic vision for filing appeals and objections.
Mediation and negotiation skills – Experience conducting hearings, participating in settlements and out-of-court negotiations, seeking effective and advantageous solutions for clients.
Education and qualifications – Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). Postgraduate specialization in labor law is a plus.
Technical knowledge – Essential mastery of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure, with the ability to apply them practically in litigation.
Compliance with internal and client workflows, routines, and procedures – Ability to strictly follow protocols established by the firm and clients, ensuring standardization and quality in case handling.
Organized and proactive profile – Ability to manage deadlines and tasks, prioritize strategic demands, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
