About this role
Role Overview
Lead the medical accounts team, ensuring effective operationalization of institutional strategies.
Coordinate and guide the team, planning activities and setting targets to meet the organization’s strategy.
Ensure medical claims are processed in accordance with contractual rules and current legislation.
Contribute to minimizing claim denials/adjustments and ensure the operator’s financial integrity.
Interact with the Provider Network and partner entities to resolve outstanding issues and adjust processes.
Monitor reimbursement analyses, validating documentation to ensure transparency.
Provide other areas of the organization with information related to the department’s processes.
Provide and/or deliver periodic training sessions.
Stay up to date with ANS and Unimed routines and publications.
Prepare management reports and monitor performance indicators (KPIs).
Comply with internal regulations and occupational health, hygiene, and safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Economics.
Postgraduate degree in strategic management and leadership preferred.
Required professional registrations where applicable (e.g., CRM, OAB, CREA).
Strong knowledge of ANS regulations, TUSS/TISS tables, and Unimed standards.
Experience in medical claims auditing and reimbursement management.
Advanced knowledge of hospital/health plan management systems and Excel.
