Communicate relevant project, team, and company information in a timely and accurate manner
Manage company resources through effective and appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, phones and energy
Maximize cost efficiencies and institute operational measures to adjust utilization of staff and materials to actual workload
Administer project budget controls to assure conformity and promote fiscal responsibility
Establish effective customer contacts and coordinate all verbal and written correspondence between Krones and customers
Assist and advise customers in resolving problems
Direct and coordinate all phases of project management for assigned projects
Perform a variety of project management tasks in the design and planning, manufacturing and procurement, project execution and closeout phases for Turnkey projects
Coordinate with customers, sales, design, manufacturing, testing, installation/service, start-up, and follow-up
Provide continuous supervision of project to meet schedule, quality, and budget requirements; establish and maintain the master schedule for the line/project
Coordinate site activities
Remain on-site for the duration of project execution phase
Responsible for cost management, change management, warranty management and resource management of the project
Develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate management software
Ensure that project budget and cost analysis include any changes or modifications as the project develops
Provide progress reports (internal and external) as directed
Issue manufacturer detail specifications for third party vendors
Evaluate suppliers
Develop specifications, issue purchase requisitions, negotiate terms and conditions, review submittals, and integrate equipment into the system
Coordinate all Krones internal departments and local RSM to provide Krones equipment that meets customer specifications and integrates with other third-party equipment
Obtain and distribute test materials
Set up and maintain an efficient filling and retrieval system to record all important project documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering and 3 years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer or Site Manager in the manufacturing industry
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the Employer will accept a high school diploma and 5 years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer or Site Manager in the manufacturing industry
3 years of experience (5 years with high school diploma) in a mechanical/electrical leadership role structured around project management including assessing and analyzing project situations
3 years of experience (5 years with a high school diploma) with project scheduling software (Excel, MS Project, or Primavera) and spreadsheet software, in a windows environment
3 years of experience reading blueprints, along with mechanical skills such as, drilling, tapping, cutting or filing
