About this role
Role Overview
- Independently carry out monthly payroll processing for our clients
- Ensure timely payroll execution in compliance with all tax and social security regulations
- Record and maintain payroll-relevant master and transaction data
- Serve as the point of contact for employees and clients on payroll, wage tax and social security matters
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Accounting) on payroll-related topics
- Support month-end and year-end closings (e.g., provisions, reporting to tax and social security authorities)
- Contribute to the analysis and optimization of payroll processes and the implementation of new systems or tools
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (or equivalent qualification)
- Initial professional experience in independent payroll processing
- Excellent knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations
- Confident user of common payroll software (e.g., SAP, DATEV, etc.)
- Structured, conscientious and solution-oriented working style
- Team-oriented personality with commitment and flexibility
- Good German language skills (English skills are an advantage)
