Gather the necessary information to classify and measure the performance of accounts to align the account plan with company/brand plans
Provide the National Business Manager with input in the development of a business plan appropriate for each account
Collect, analyse data and negotiate mutually beneficial selling propositions with accounts to grow profit, volume and market share on tobacco brands and products and across Ryde
Managing the implementation of account plans for assigned accounts to ensure that volume & profit objectives per account are achieved through the most efficient use of resources
Manage Grocery Independent specific accounts to ensure volume management and performance in line with forecast and improving BAT position across the Independent network
Manage consumer demand & supply issues in accounts for both tobacco and Ryde
Lead by example and challenge others to raise standards and deliver stretch results
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in an analyst or account/sales role within a trade channel or account management environment
Strong understanding of the Australian FMCG landscape
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and deliver commercially beneficial outcomes
Demonstrated commercial acumen, with the ability to assess situations and make sound business decisions
Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to overcome challenges and recover quickly from setbacks
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling, and impactful customer presentations
Solid knowledge of sales techniques, with the ability to apply the right approach in different situations
