Manager, Community Health

Role Overview

• Lead the design and implementation of Sutter Health’s community grantmaking and investment strategy.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of community health investments.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, and local leaders.
• Participate in the development of Sutter Health’s tri-annual Community Health Needs Assessment.
• Contribute to internal and external communications that highlight community health activities, partnerships, and impact stories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's: Public Policy, Public Health or Public Administration, or a related field
• 8 years recent relevant experience
• Significant understanding of community-based organizations and local and statewide Foundations and government agencies.
• Knowledge of public relations and event coordination.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with executives and senior management teams.
