Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters, providing guidance and support to drive optimal performance in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent.
Further develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that align with Astrana Health’s overall talent acquisition goals, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber candidates at all levels.
Personally manage the recruitment process for senior-level, mission-critical roles across the organization, including direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Instill a "raise the bar" mindset across the Talent Acquisition function, encouraging recruiters and hiring managers to continually seek candidates who bring added value, innovation, and leadership to their teams.
Contribute to performance metrics for the Talent Acquisition team, holding team members accountable for meeting hiring targets and maintaining high standards of candidate quality and experience.
Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, align recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless, consultative hiring process.
Continuously assess and optimize the recruiting process, including candidate experience, time-to-fill, and quality of hire, to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Champion initiatives to attract and hire a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflecting the values and mission of Astrana Health.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles, preferably in healthcare or tech environment.
Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
Ability to influence and drive change, with a track record of raising the bar on hiring standards.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
