Consultant – Med-Surg

Role Overview

• Manage individual work efforts in support of client objectives by analyzing and presenting data
• Obtain data from internal, external and client sources and independently perform analyses
• Execute portions of assigned project plans; prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives
• Utilize project management methodology to guide work efforts
• Draft presentations; present data and recommendations to clients
• Develop client relationships by interacting directly with team members
• Recognized as a trusted point of contact for clients
• Suggest ideas for improving products/services/tools/methods in functional area of focus
• Contribute to the development of project initiatives and implementation plans
• Contribute to the development of intellectual capital materials (e.g., case studies)
• Support client: identify aggregation opportunities utilizing client GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) contracts to achieve additional cost savings

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred
• Nursing degree required desired
• 2 or more years of hospital-based experience required
• Strong Analytic Accummen
• Advanced Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint skills required
• Strong project management skills
• Supply Chain and Value Analysis experience and knowledge desired
• Understanding of both clinical and non-clinical activities and processes therein
• Willingness to travel (40-50%)
