About this role
Role Overview
Establish and maintain high-quality service standards at the ADP.
Assess client needs, supervise service delivery, and act as a clinical resource for staff.
Monitor client records, evaluate work processes, and assist the DCS in revising policies to ensure customer-driven care.
Maintain professional relationships with funders, health care organizations, and the public to enhance service quality.
Assist the DCS in overseeing the Assisted Living Program during the DCS’ absence.
Collaborate with Human Resources to interview and select new team members.
Conduct employee appraisals, investigate staff issues, and initiate disciplinary actions or grievance management when necessary.
Coordinate staffing levels and ensure the efficient use of material resources.
Facilitate student placements and support advanced clinical research within the program.
Requirements
Diploma in Nursing
Practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurse & Midwives (BCCNM)
Minimum of three (3) years of recent, related clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a leadership capacity.
Strong planning & organizational, problem solving & decision making and time management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken) is considered a strong asset.
