Play a leading role in shaping the detector system, including detector-proximal electronics and firmware, for our high-precision EUV mask metrology and inspection platform
Analyze and optimize required specifications and translate them into customer-focused solutions
Develop and evaluate performance budgets and derive modular system and subassembly concepts from them
Drive and successfully implement the development of the overall system with development partners from concept to series production
Coordinate and optimize interfaces to the overarching system
Contribute to integrating detector solutions into the technical system concept for the EUV mask metrology system
Requirements
A completed degree in a scientific or technical field with a focus on optics/optoelectronics/system engineering (PhD advantageous)
Relevant professional experience in executing demanding development tasks in the field of optical detectors (EUV and TDI advantageous), including project management
A strong passion for precision metrology and excellent knowledge of optical detector principles, particularly their fabrication, integration, characterization, lifetime, near-detector data processing at high data rates, and proficiency in Matlab
A high degree of independence and innovation, and the ability to prepare, present and document complex issues clearly and in a structured way
A structured, goal-oriented, collegial and customer-focused working style
Team player with enthusiasm for working in a globally operating team
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
