In our Retail Sales team, the average sales cycle is six months, working with companies of 20 to 600 employees and an average ARR of €150K.
At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects.
You will sometimes manage customer relationships to ensure the best possible onboarding.
You’ll educate prospects, deliver compelling product demos, and onboard key stakeholders to make the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method.
This approach ensures the prospect experience is an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—making it pleasant and delightful for everyone.
We expect you to be instructive with prospects (Smart) and to define the best personalized high-touch strategy for each prospect (Soft).
You’ll also help us grow and improve as a company by challenging us to enhance our products, methods, and strategy, and by getting involved in initiatives to expand our customer base.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years’ experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Prospecting is a core part of the role.
Interest in working with prospects in the Retail segment (a more traditional sector).
Full professional proficiency in French (C2 or equivalent) and advanced English.
Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
Empathetic and passionate about understanding and solving prospects’ problems.
Able to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
Strong understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in a small team.
Eager to learn quickly and make an impact from day one.
Based in (or willing to relocate to) Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, or Strasbourg.
For this role, we are targeting hires within the C0–C1 level range.
