As a Solution Architect (m/f/x) you support the technical sales process — from the initial idea through to the proof of concept — ensuring that customer needs are incorporated as well-founded decision-making inputs for product, sales and go-to-market.
Responsibility for technical sales support — from initial conversations to a successful PoC.
Develop and present tailored solution concepts based on individual customer requirements.
Act as the voice of the market within the company and ensure relevant insights from customer projects are channeled into product development, positioning and market activities.
Create targeted technical content for sales initiatives and campaigns.
Independently analyze market trends and the competitive landscape and derive relevant actionable recommendations.
Requirements
Understanding of industrial IT and OT landscapes (e.g., cloud architectures, MES, IIoT).
Experience in consulting or in consultative selling of complex technical products.
Structured working style, high level of personal responsibility and strong communication skills.
German (min. C1) and fluent English, both written and spoken.
Bonus points for experience with (industrial) communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet).
