Represent Monzo in external regulatory engagements and industry forums, managing requests and enhancing regulatory relationships.
Ensure thorough execution of risk-based commitments and synthesise insights from assessments to inform practices.
Aggregate and challenge outputs from risk assessments in the 1st line, focusing on both historical and proposed practices.
Elevate Monzo’s control environment to greater maturity and scalability, pioneering a proactive approach to risk management.
Foster positive relationships across the three lines of defence, addressing control gaps, and promoting a transparent risk culture.

Exceptional risk and control expertise from UK banks, financial services, or FinTech
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and tackle complex issues in matrix environments
Strong track record in managing 1st line risk with experience growing new business ‘in control’
Data driven control leader
Thrive in fast-paced settings, showcasing resilience, adaptability, and exceptional execution skills
Curiosity and collaboration, adept at asking insightful questions and quickly acting on new information
Experience in fintech, deploying AI, or working in scaling environments or tech companies is a plus!
