Review and prepare complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, entities, and LLCs
Prepare individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by deadlines
Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed
Work with clients to gather relevant tax-related information to prepare an accurate tax return
Analyze the individual's tax situation, trusts, and estate from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefit is applied
Prepare and review year-end projections and quarterly estimates
Research various tax-related issues
Manage and develop clients who require income tax and financial planning
Provide mentorship and guidance to interns and associates on tax matters
Act as a liaison between managers and clients
Maintain strong presentation skills in both written and oral communication
Attend internal and external professional development and training seminars regularly to enhance skills and knowledge in the field
Requirements
2-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work, including preparing and reviewing complex high-net-worth individual, partnership, fiduciary, LLC, non-profit, gift, and estate tax returns
Ability to prepare working trial balance and year-end adjusting entries
Possess a broad understanding of Tax Law
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional multitasking abilities and consistently meet all deadlines
Keen interest in staying abreast of dynamic changes in tax industry's regulations and policies
Excel at problem-solving and quickly identify and offer solutions
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess
Excellent research, writing, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without visa sponsorship
