Interim Accountant

Role Overview

• Provide interim finance specialist support
• Independently handle monthly accounting for various industries
• Assist with monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare VAT returns, EC Sales Lists (VIES) and related filings
• Correspond with authorities and tax offices
• Typically work on client projects for an average period of 3 to 12 months
• On-site visits and onboarding at client locations in Austria & Germany

Requirements

• Successfully completed accounting certification
• Relevant professional experience
• Strong IT affinity
• Experience with common ERP systems (e.g., SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, BMD, Navision, DATEV, RZL, Microsoft Axapta)
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
• Numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, team spirit and structured working methods
• Excellent German language skills, at least C1 level
• English language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel at least 50%
