Monitor and troubleshoot daily interfaces between the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and the USSGL
Conduct root-cause analysis on "out-of-balance" conditions or failed system-generated transactions
Coordinate with IT and Functional teams to resolve technical "handshake" errors between procurement and accounting modules
Ensure all automated system entries for the 1700 (General Property, Plant, and Equipment) and 1500 (Inventory and Related Property) series accounts adhere to the Treasury’s pro forma entries
Validate that depreciation, capitalization thresholds, and gain/loss on disposals are calculated correctly within the system logic
Support the preparation of the Notes to the Financial Statements related to property and inventory
Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations between the subsidiary property records and the general ledger control accounts
Provide evidential matter for Financial Statement Audits (e.g., FIAR compliance) to prove the existence and completeness of property records
Represent the Financial Management team during system upgrades or the implementation of new ERP modules
Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to verify that system changes do not negatively impact the USSGL posting logic
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Holds a DoW Secret clearance
Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
