Role Overview
- In this Junior Marketing Analytics position, you will join the Marketing Data team, which aims to ensure data reliability and drive marketing strategies based on insights.
- You will work in an intensive learning environment, mentored by specialists and participating in projects that directly impact business results.
- Day-to-day responsibilities are organized around four pillars:
- Data Processing and Analysis:
- Advanced SQL: Write and optimize queries to manipulate large volumes of data;
- ETL Awareness: Understand and support data Extraction, Transformation, and Load flows, ensuring information moves correctly between CRM, internal databases, and analytics tools;
- Data Integration: Combine data from digital platforms (GA4/MMP) with transactional data to produce full journey views.
- Digital Analytics and Behavior:
- User Journey: Analyze user behavior, identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve conversion;
- Channel Performance: Monitor and analyze channel performance and efficiency (Paid Media, SEO, and CRM) using metrics such as sessions, users, and leads;
- Data Quality: Support validation and the health of tagging (GA4/GTM/MMP).
- Storytelling and Visualization:
- Data Storytelling: Translate data into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders at different levels, focusing on the "why" behind the data;
- Strategic Dashboards: Create visualizations in Tableau to support decision-making;
- Deliver presentations to other squads (business, product, and data) to conduct tests, discuss results, align expectations and timelines, and implement solutions.
- Automation and the Future (AI):
- Process Automation: Identify manual tasks and propose automations to streamline the marketing team’s daily work;
- AI Agents: Interest in and active learning of AI Agents and large language models (LLMs).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Technology, or related fields;
- Analytical thinking to break down business problems;
- Advanced SQL: Ability to work autonomously with large databases;
- Analytics experience: Practical knowledge of GA4 (event analysis and explorations);
- Data Viz & Storytelling: Experience creating dashboards and confidence in presentations;
- Data literacy: Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and database structures;
- Agile mindset and adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments;
- Proactivity and results orientation.
Differentials (What sets you apart):
- Knowledge of Google BigQuery;
- Personal projects or case studies involving AI Agents;
- Familiarity with automation and analysis tools (e.g., Python);
- Previous experience with Adjust or AppsFlyer.
