About this role
Role Overview
New business & client acquisition
New client acquisition: You identify potential clients, establish initial contacts and convince them of PIRATEx
Pitch support: You prepare presentations and present our agency and services professionally and enthusiastically
Network building: You represent PIRATEx at events and industry meetings and build long-term business relationships
Lead management: You follow up on inquiries, conduct initial talks and qualify potential projects
Creative event conception: You develop innovative, tailor-made event concepts that excite clients and participants
Strategic consulting: You analyze client needs, develop customized solutions and advise on optimal implementation of their goals
Proposal development: You create compelling proposals including concept, timeline and budget
Customer journey design: You design the participant experience from the first touchpoint through follow-up
Project management & execution
Project coordination: You manage selected projects from planning through execution
Supplier management: You coordinate venue, catering, technical production, event platforms and other service providers
Budget responsibility: You prepare budgets, monitor costs and ensure financially sound execution
Client communication: You act as the main contact for your clients and ensure regular alignment and transparent communication
Requirements

Strategic thinking: You recognize client needs, think customer-oriented and develop goal-oriented concepts
Sales affinity: You enjoy contact with (potential) clients and proactively approach people

Relevant professional experience: At least 2 years of experience in event management, an event agency or similar fields
Concept development strength: Proven experience in developing event concepts
Client handling: Confident demeanor in client contact, ideally with initial experience in acquisition or sales
Project management: Experience in planning and implementing events (from a budget volume of €20,000)
Tool competence: Confident use of project management tools and software (Google Workspace, Gemini or similar)
Presentation skills: Experience in creating and presenting concepts and proposals
