Manage the development of new projects with suppliers to ensure the launch of new products and their modifications;
Monitor the development of production means on-site with suppliers, from project phase through final product approval;
Monitor and analyze qualitative performance, production capacity, and supply risk;
Support Volkswagen internal departments with suppliers in managing activities such as product modifications, capacity increases, and quality improvements;
Conduct technical evaluations of production means to analyze and develop solutions to mitigate production risks and recommend rehabilitation actions;
Support the sourcing process through technical evaluation of supplier proposals;
Work with suppliers on crisis management and troubleshooting activities when there is a supply risk due to breakdowns or failures of production equipment;
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or technologist diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Production, etc.), Business Administration, Technology, or related fields;
Intermediate to advanced spoken English;
Knowledge of plastic part manufacturing processes (injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, painting, chrome plating, etc.);
Project management and process development experience;
Experience with simulation and modeling software (flow analysis, CATIA, PowerShape, NS, finite element analysis);
Experience with quality tools (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan);
Proficiency in MS Office;
Resilience, proactivity, sense of ownership, and conflict management skills;
Good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team;
Availability for frequent travel (domestic and international);
