Manage and maintain the server infrastructure (Windows/Linux)
Administer and deploy virtualization environments based on Microsoft Windows Hyper-V Server
Monitor system performance and server utilization
Maintain monitoring systems such as PRTG, SmokePing and CheckMK
Oversee regular system backups (VEEAM) and perform restore tests
Implement security measures to protect systems and data
Troubleshoot and support the team with technical issues
Participate in 1st
and 2nd-level support
Document system changes in Atlassian Confluence and track progress in Jira

Degree in a STEM subject or vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in server and system administration preferred
Solid knowledge of administering Windows environments; experience with Microsoft Hyper-V is a plus
Proficiency in subnetting and familiarity with concepts such as Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
Knowledge of network technologies and protocols
Strong problem-solving skills, structured working style and analytical thinking
Good communication and teamwork skills
Fluent in German and English
