Role Overview
Produce NSR products and NSH reports and content
Take NSH phone calls as required
Escalate time critical information reports to law enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders in consultation with shift leaders
Participate in Crisis Coordination Teams and internal briefings during an incident when required
Monitor email, postal, fax and SMS correspondence and ensure they are actioned appropriately
Produce complex/urgent event creation and notifications
Action and administer ethical standards and other stakeholder calls as required
Identify, coordinate and deliver shift training and upskilling of APS4 staff members, in collaboration with the NSR Training Coordinator
Contribute to other NMS-related work including (but not limited to) briefings, data collection, exercising and reviewing procedures where appropriate
Undertake other tasks related to the role, including project work, as directed
If in a non-shift role, participate in an on-call rotation to provide contingency and subject matter expertise for the 24/7 shift teams

Requirements

Depending on the role within the NSR, the ability to process content which may be confronting, challenging and or triggering including terrorism, natural disasters, child sexual abuse material, domestic violence and mental health issues
Obtain and maintain the required AGSVA security clearance and must have the ability to satisfy AFP building access requirements.
