About this role
Role Overview
Lead our Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) processes, building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our AI systems reliable, scalable, and secure
Bridge the gap between AI engineering and business value by aligning technical initiatives with customer needs, supporting sales and product discussions, and driving measurable impact for our clients
Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to design and implement advanced features for our AI-driven supply chain operating system and to ensure smooth integration of machine learning models and data pipelines into production systems
Guide and support efforts to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and uncertainty estimation of our existing AI-based features, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure their high quality and reliability
Contribute to the scalability, maintainability, and core functionality of our AI solutions and participate in building new ones
Establish and uphold high standards in our engineering practices, tooling, and processes
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in MLOps, including end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management, and 5+ years of experience with natural language processing and image processing techniques
Strong proficiency in Python and Azure, with experience in AI frameworks and libraries
Experience with Terraform is a plus
Demonstrated ability to write clean, reusable, and well-tested code
Leadership experience, either technical or disciplinary, is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling challenging customer issues
Fluency in English with strong reading comprehension in German (B2 level or higher) required.
