Role Overview
Day to day support on tasks for Agency finance leadership
Manage and prepare revenue reporting (weekly, monthly, YTD, FY) and provide revenue/variance analysis.
Monthly review of the Client revenue as part of the month-end close alongside business leadership; identifying action items to be completed by finance or business teams
Monthly preparation and review of client trackers inclusive of billing/invoicing, utilization/realization, and percentage completion
Prepare budgets and forecasts; deliver proactive data to enable key decisions.
Analyze staffing, utilization and billability; support resourcing plans across accounts.
Review and process Statements of Work (SOWs); ensure client scope approvals and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
Effectively manage and track projects; run recurring project status meetings with cross-functional teams.
Ensure timely billing of agency fees and out-of-pocket expenses; partner with Account Management on billing cadence.
Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), Work in Progress (WIP), and accrued/deferred revenue analysis.
Support audit requests and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Serve as gatekeeper for Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and contract compliance.
Collaborate with the broader Finance team and portfolio leadership; provide tactical and strategic guidance to solve problems.
Perform ad hoc reporting as needed and continuously improve processes and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of Client Finance/FP&A/Finance experience, preferably in an agency environment.
Experience with enterprise-level financial systems
Dynamics 365 (strong preference) – and business intelligence tools (PowerBI)
Preferred experience with Agency specific tools like Workfront and Media tools like MediaOcean
Experience working in advertising/public relations or healthcare marketing agencies.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Sound judgment; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver quality work.
Ability to adjust priorities, respond to changing demands, and meet deadlines by effectively managing time.
Strong collaboration skills—appropriately involve others in decisions to ensure alignment and support.
Working knowledge of GAAP; strong data analysis and forecasting skills.
Professional communication, with the ability to triage messages and present complex information clearly.
