Under the supervision of the Director REM Operations performs a wide variety of tasks directly related to the identification, planning and acquisition of new properties and/or management contracts for the EAH Housing portfolio
Identifies and evaluates potentially viable opportunities in alignment with EAH’s expansion goals
Performs all basic due diligence work on potential opportunities deemed generally viable for acquisition purposes
Conduct comprehensive reviews of property financials, operational and compliance risks
Compiles comprehensive deal analysis packages, assessing risk associated with any management acquisition
Facilitates dialogue with EAH department heads and REM Leadership to finalize decision on new business opportunities
Creates an acquisition strategy and timeline in coordination with supervisor and Senior REM Leadership
Works with Director, REM Operations, in planning and implementing acquisition strategies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields of study: architecture, real estate development, real estate management, finance, planning, or construction management
Education in other fields of study would be acceptable combined with appropriate work experience
3-5 years of related work or field work experience in matters related to property management, affordable housing, and/or acquisition of property management contracts
