Associate Director, Medical Scientist

Role Overview

• Identify national, regional, and local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Maintain and broaden professional relationships with HCPs
• Contribute to Congress Planning activities
• Serve as a scientific expert at medical and scientific conferences
• Maintain high-level understanding about disease state and treatment guidelines
• Work with Medical Affairs on medical information, publications, and educational programs
• Provide support to clinical development programs by serving as a key point of contact
• Generate Field Medical Affairs plans

Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or MD/DO, MS, PA, ARNP) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of CV MSL experience
• CV experience in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is preferable
• Analytical and articulate in both oral and written communications
• Knowledge of the Medical Science Liaison roles and responsibilities
• Comply with all credentialing requirements for healthcare institutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• A valid US Driver’s License and good driving record
