Provides strategic direction and oversight for cards, payments, and related products and services.
Ensures alignment with the credit union's overall objectives and growth targets.
Drives the achievement of organizational OKRs and growth goals by completing projects on schedule.
Leads the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies to strengthen product capabilities and operational effectiveness.
Champions innovation in cards and payments.
Manages and optimizes payment systems to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance.
Works collaboratively across departments to ensure the success and effectiveness of initiatives.
Continuously evaluates and enhances operational processes, systems, and workflows.
Requirements
Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of leadership experience in deposit operations, product management, payments, information technology, or related roles within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of cards, payment systems, and industry regulations.
Proficient in credit union systems including Meridian Link, Visa DPS, and Symitar.
Significant system/technical experience desired.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, systems, product development, and project management.
Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
Sound understanding of risk management principles and compliance requirements.
Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email.
